We are currently looking for a Business Operations Support Officer to join us remotely and contribute to the day-to-day operations of the company and create a working environment in which people thrive.

Role’s Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate business trip arrangements, encompassing transportation, accommodation, itinerary planning, and visa application processes for employees traveling internationally, ensuring adherence to company policies, budgetary constraints, and timely submissions, while also assisting with any necessary follow-up actions to secure required documentation.
  • Maintain and update the company calendar, encompassing both the company-wide meetings and the CEO’s calendar, with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Organize and oversee various corporate events, from conception to execution, including venue booking, catering arrangements, and logistical coordination.
  • Handle general administrative tasks such as sorting and distributing mail and maintaining filing systems to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Execute procurement processes, including sourcing vendors, obtaining quotes, negotiating contracts, and processing purchase orders, while maintaining a focus on cost efficiency and quality assurance.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement of Administrative Operations processes aimed at reducing redundancies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a technical field (IT, Engineering, etc…)
  • MSc in Business Administration will be considered a plus
  • 5-7 years of working experience in a relevant position
  • Proficient in using business software and tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated skill in enhancing operational efficiency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Native fluency in Greek (spoken and written) is required
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented mindset
  • Ability to establish positive working relationships within a dynamic, international remote environment
  • *Ability to work occasionally from the offices in Athens (Petralona) is required*
